Inspiration
The Promise (Short Story) is based on real life events back in 2011 when KD was with their friends' house. One of KD's friends got possessed by a spirit who thought that one of KD's friends looks like his wife. The spirit was a Japanese soldier who died from the war long time ago. KD couldn't help but think, what would I feel if I was in his shoes?
Story Plot
James had a promise to come back to his family, but when he did, his hometown became a completely different environment. What could've happened to his family and friends? What would he do now?
